What changes when NEET moves to CBT
The syllabus and the paper structure stay the same. What changes is everything around how you sit the exam, and that is exactly what most aspirants have never practised:
Reading on screen
Long biology statements and physics numericals are measurably slower to read on a monitor than on paper. You need the reps.
The question palette
NTA colour-codes every question as not visited, not answered, answered, marked, or answered and marked. Navigating it under time pressure is a skill.
No margin scribbling
You cannot annotate the question. Working moves to a separate rough sheet, which changes how you attempt multi-step problems.
NEET exam pattern used in these mocks
| Subject | Questions | Marks |
|---|---|---|
| Physics | 45 | 180 |
| Chemistry | 45 | 180 |
| Botany | 45 | 180 |
| Zoology | 45 | 180 |
| Total | 180 | 720 |
Marking is +4 for correct, -1 for wrong and 0 for un-attempted, over 180 minutes. Every paper here is built to that blueprint, chapter by chapter, from the same weightage NEET has followed in recent years.

NEET CBT mock test: common questions
Is NEET 2027 really going to be a computer-based test?
Yes. NTA announced the switch to CBT on 15 May 2026 and has confirmed it to the Supreme Court. What is still pending is the detailed information bulletin, which will fix the final shift pattern, timings and normalisation rules. The syllabus itself is not changing because of the mode switch.
How is a CBT different from the OMR paper?
You read every question on screen and click an option instead of darkening a bubble. There is an on-screen countdown, a colour-coded question palette that shows what you have answered, marked or skipped, and Save & Next / Clear Response / Mark for Review buttons. You still get a physical rough sheet for working. Our mock engine reproduces that interface exactly.
How many mock tests do I get?
There are 105 tests in total: 30 full-length 180-question papers, 45 subject-wise papers and 30 chapter-wise papers. The first three full-length mocks and all 30 chapter-wise tests are free with no login. The other 72 timed papers unlock with one payment of ₹299.
Do I need to create an account?
No. The free tests run straight in your browser and your progress is saved locally, so an accidental refresh will not wipe your answers. If you buy the full library you get a licence key by email and paste it once per device.
Are the questions repeated across papers?
A question never repeats inside a single paper. Across the whole library most questions appear exactly once, and no question appears in more than three papers. Where a question does reappear, the option order is reshuffled.
What is the marking scheme?
+4 for a correct answer, -1 for a wrong answer, 0 for an un-attempted question, out of 720 marks over 180 minutes. All questions are compulsory: the optional Section B was dropped from 2025-26.
