Delete your ChapterNotes account and data

This page explains how to delete your ChapterNotes account (Android app package in.chapternotes.app) and the data associated with it. ChapterNotes is operated by the ChapterNotes team.

Option 1: Delete from inside the app (fastest)

1. Open the ChapterNotes app and sign in with your account.
2. Go to the Home screen and scroll to the footer.
3. Tap Delete account.
4. Confirm when prompted. Your account and data are removed immediately.

Option 2: Request deletion by email

If you cannot access the app, email chapternotes.in@gmail.com from the email address linked to your account and ask us to delete your account. We will complete the request within 30 days.

What gets deleted

• Your account and profile: name, email address, and profile photo from Google sign-in.
• Your learning data: quiz results, progress, streaks, and predicted score.

What is kept, and for how long

• Feedback you submitted and product-usage logs are retained only in an anonymized form, disconnected from your identity, so we can keep improving the app. These records no longer identify you.
• We may keep limited records where required by law. We never sell your data or share it with third parties for their own use.
